Attendee COVID Protocols – Access the App Today

Only two short weeks are remaining until we join together in Charlotte, NC for the Medicaid Enterprise Systems Conference. As part of the entry requirements for the MESC all attendees must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results within 48 hours of arriving in order to enter the conference. The MESC has two options for you to choose from to meet this requirement:

  1. Mobile App
  2. Hardcopy or photo of COVID Vaccination Card or Negative Test Result

 

Option 1: Mobile App – Access the CLEAR Health Pass – we have partnered with CLEAR to utilize Health Pass, to provide easy proof of COVID-19-related health insights for attendees.

ImportantEnroll and complete your Health Pass before arriving. Here’s how:

  1. Download the Click Here to Access the App and enter your mobile phone number
  2. On your phone tap the white Health Pass
  3. Select ‘Have a code?’ and enter MESC2022
  4. Easily enroll with your government issued ID or if you are already a CLEAR member, verify your identity with a quick selfie
  5. Follow the prompts to verify your proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results
    1. Link proof of vaccination – CDC card upload (recommended)
      • When prompted to add your vaccination, select ‘add your vaccination card’ to upload a photo of your CDC Vaccine Card
      • Take a photo of your vaccination card and confirm your vaccine information
        • Please note, the photo of your CDC card is used to generate a green or red Health Pass. You will not be able to access it again after it is taken.
      • Complete your Health Pass, a green Health Pass is good to go!
    2. Link proof of vaccination – Digitally link
      • Select your vaccine provider in the menu or by searching ‘other providers’. Log-in to your patient portal and follow instructions to securely link your account with CLEAR. The CLEAR app is integrated with select healthcare providers and pharmacies.
      • If you are unable to find your provider in search, CLEAR may not be able to link with them at this time. Please go back and upload a photo of your CDC Vaccine Card!
      • Check that your COVID-19 vaccine appears in your patient portal, if not we recommend you reach out to your provider directly.
      • If found, your results will link automatically and it may take up to 1 hour to verify your results within Health Pass – do not try to resync your results
      • Complete your Health Pass, a green Health Pass is good to go!
    3. Upload Test Results – *NEW*
      • When prompted to add your negative COVID-19 test, select ‘Upload Test Results’ to upload a photo or PDF of your results and input your test At home, rapid tests are acceptable.
    4. Digitally link a COVID-19 test result
      • Select your testing provider in the menu or by searching ‘other providers’. Log-in to your patient portal and follow instructions to securely link your account with CLEAR.
        • The CLEAR app is integrated with select healthcare providers and pharmacies. If you are unable to find your provider or unable to link a test, please be prepared to bring a physical copy of your test results and your ID to the entrance.
  1. When you arrive onsite at the Charlotte Convention Center, reopen the Health Pass tile and open your Health Pass. Be ready to present to staff for faster entry. This step will only be required when you check in at registration to pick up your badge.

Option 2: Hardcopy or Photo  – if you are uncomfortable uploading your personal information to the app no worries…simply bring a hard copy of your COVID vaccination card or paper report from a professional lab test and show it to the MESC staff as you approach the registration area. Alternatively, you can take a photo of you COVID vaccination card, professional lab test report or at home rapid test result and show it to the MESC staff as you approach the registration area.

 

Proof of vaccination or a negative test will only be required at the time you are picking up your badge and conference materials. You will not be asked to show the information again.
