  1. Single State Medicaid Billing Training (Division of Youth & Children)

Focused on the specific needs of the Division of Youth and Children, this upcoming RFP seeks expert vendors to provide specialized training for Medicaid billing. The goal is to maximize federal reimbursement while ensuring strict compliance with evolving state and federal regulations.

  • Focus Area: Revenue cycle management, coding accuracy, and youth-service specific documentation.
  • Status: High Priority. Final approval of the Statement of Work is underway.
  1. Multi-State Community Engagement Verification Services

Building on the success of our recent NERDS-3 Summit, NESCSO is seeking innovative solutions to verify community engagement and work requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Focus Area: Real-time data integration, user-friendly reporting interfaces, and cross-state eligibility synchronization.
  1. Multi-State Electronic Asset Verification Services (AVS)

This initiative aims to renew and expand our existing multi-state collaboration for electronic asset verification. By leveraging the collective volume of seven participating states, we aim to secure the most cost-effective and technologically advanced AVS solutions available.

  • Focus Area: Financial institution data exchange, automated eligibility triggers, and fraud prevention.
  1. Multi-State Leadership and Professional Development

To support the backbone of our agencies—our people—NESCSO will be issuing a call for partners to design and deliver leadership training tailored to Health and Human Services (HHS) executives and emerging leaders.

  • Focus Area: Change management in government, Medicaid policy leadership, and regional collaborative skills.
